The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)’s page on MDS is factual, but brief. In addition to background about the disease, this page also provides incidence, survival, and mortality statistics. Two very helpful sections of the site are “How Will MDS Affect Me?” and “Clinical Examination,” which provide information that easily relates to each individual. Separately, the LLS provides a booklet, which is highly recommended. The booklet introduces MDS and provides a comprehensive overview of the disease in easy to understand language.
