Hudson River Swim For Life – This fundraising event for blood cancer research and other non-profit organizations will take place on September 13. Starting in Nyack, NY, participating swimmers will swim 1 mile along the shores or 3 miles across the river to Sleepy Hollow, NY. Kayackers and boaters are also invited to participate. The Nation’s Triathlon – On September 13, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) will host The Nation’s Triathlon in Washington, DC, to raise funds for blood cancer research and promote awareness. The Triathlon started in 2006 with the ultimate goal of being the largest, most organized and well-produced triathlons in the world. This effort is an example of the LLS’s strategy to create new and effective fundraising methods. For more information, visit the LLS Web Site.

The Moab Century Tour Cycling Event – This cycling event will take place on September 19 in the Canyon Country of Utah. It is one of the hundreds of fitness events sponsored by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and its Team In Training program. Proceeds go to raising awareness and funds for blood cancer research. The Moab Tour will take riders through beautiful, varied landscapes of the Colorado River canyons and the La Sal Mountains. For more information, please visit the LLS Web Site.
